As a human being, I have many different sides, traits, qualities, and flaws. All this enters the space with me, whenever I coach, advise, co-create and guide. I come with over 15 years of experience in different roles in academia, the education system, and the for-profit and non-profit sectors. I have taught, built, designed, led, followed, developed, managed, facilitated, and - most importantly - I have failed and learned a ton along the way. My Why
Do you know that feeling when you look up the stars, or back down to Earth through the camera lenses of the ISS? Or this magic feeling in one of those moments when something new comes into being - like flowers in spring, a new idea that starts manifesting or a child being born. This unique feeling of awe and wonder, which leaves you humble, inspired, and connected to something that is greater than yourself.
This feeling of gratitude and joy for being alive and being able to contribute to and to witness something meaningful, while being connected to others.
That’s my WHY, my inspiration.

In whichever role I contribute, whether as a coach, trainer, mentor, teacher, speaker, tinker & tinkerer, entrepreneur, a brother, a (grand) son or a friend, I always see myself as a companion of the people around me. Supporting and empowering them on their way of learning and growing into their unique Self while contributing to the world in their unique way, I simultaneously consider myself a custodian of our shared home, planet Earth. I believe in the unique gifts and talents of every single one of us and dedicate my head, heart and hand to the co-creation of a great present and an even greater future.

About my journey and contributions
I am in:spired to empower teams and individuals to live up to their highest potential and to align their purpose with the dynamics in complex, and uncertain environments. With head, hand, and heart I enable people to integrate different perspectives and ideas, feelings, and intuitions, into a coherent picture and navigate change in meaningful ways. Spending great portions of my youth on basketball courts as a competitive player, and later as a team coach, has shaped my belief that the whole is more than the sum of its parts - and also, that every part is a representation of the whole. I cultivated a profound understanding of the relationship between individual and team performances and their respective limitations.

I grew up in a multi-cultural and multi-generational home that made me understand that sense, purpose, and meaning are highly contextual. A life journey with contrasting stations made dealing with change, complexity, and ambiguity second nature to me and leaves me with a rich set of experiences that helps to serve as a coach, consultant, and change companion even in challenging constellations. I am a Teach First Germany Alumni and continue to be an advocate of educational justice and empowerment for the next generation of talent.

I have more than 15 years of experience in academia, the education sector, the not-for-profit sector, and the industry in a variety of roles and contexts. As Integral Business Coach with an ICF-certified training recognized by DBVC and IOBC, this enables me to adapt to the different professional realities and domain-specific needs of my clients and partners. Building on learnings during my multidisciplinary PhD research in Geoscience at the RWTH Aachen University, I developed strong expertise in collective sensemaking. I know first-hand what it means to align multiple perspectives and make decisions with incomplete and contradicting information.
